Hi! I'm new!

Hi guys! Just found this community, and I thought it looked great!

I was just wondering (I'm not sure what languages you all speak) can anyone point me to some good music in Spanish, French, Italian or Russian? I like rock music, so that's the sort of thing I'm looking for, I'm just atrocious at finding bands. Although, any silly songs, "L'Agitateur" type things, are always great fun too!

My Chemical Romance in Dublin

Okay, so it was a week ago, but I haven't had a chance to write about it yet!!

Did you know, it takes three MCR albums to get from Belfast to Dublin? We didn't, but now we do. It also took us twice through the Black Parade to find the RDS

(Why is NOBODY in Dublin IRISH????It took us about 20 people to find someone who knew what we were talking about - "follow that marching band jacket!!" anyone?). Anyway, finding the RDS...two freaking hours, driving around Dublin!! Crazy!! But we finally made it (two hours AFTER we intended, but anywho...)

Got into the queue, security took my glow sticks off me, why? who knows...

MCR fans are so nice (obvious exception the girl in the MiniMCR hoodie who glared at us for telling her we loved her hoodie!!), but especially the nice girl who explained to us what Pit Passes were...oh, boy, did we feel naive... then there was Mr "Don't-blame-your-parents", who kept shouting at people and yelling "F***ing emos!!" MCR queue, not the greatest place to start calling people emo, but okay...

So, we got in, up near the front of the pit, met some more really nice people (all those speeches about respecting your fellow fans has really paid off, good ol' Gerard Way!) Finn and Peter (I think that's how her name is spelt...) a really nice couple who came to find us at the end, to make sure we were okay (we scarpered from the front once LostAlone left the stage)

Was great though, we got an awesome view from the back of the pit. It was really warm, and I nearly threw up, so i had to run out the the medical area to get some air and a bottle of water. Missed "The End" (can't believe I missed the freaking hospital gurney entrance! I wanted to know if it looked as funny in real life as in the pictures...) and half of "Dead!". Aine came with to make sure I was okay, so she missed it too. Love Aine!!!

So anyway, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!! Our venue sucked, so we were denied the zeppelins, but my God, do they put on a good show!! Whole way through the Black Parade (got a bit freaked out by the fake hysterical sobbing at the end of "Mama", but once I realised what he was at - Liza impressions, fair enough then... - twas fine. The guy is INSANE though.)

So that was the Black Parade... "Stick around for our friend My Chemical Romance"...so people start leaving... okay, you wanna miss the Revenge part? Go right on ahead!

Eight songs off Revenge, with some old school Frankie guitar, throwing the guitar all over the place and all that jazz. As for Mikey Way - that may have been Revenge MCR, but that was TBP Mikey!!! Really glad he didn't play the part of shy-panic-attacky Mikey, we would have missed his posing!! lmao.

Couldn't really see Ray, he was on the other side of the stage, nothing but the odd blur of Toro-fro! And that clock drum. The first one Bob used (he has 2 drum kits now) The first one had a clock on it, SO HAWT!! (Glad to see "Mr. G. Way" has decided to lay off the painted-on sideburns)

Then after the concert, Aine got Frank's plectrum!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!! okay, so we got kinda fan girlish about it (given that we're only assuming it's Frank's, because it came from that side of the stage) but Finn said it had a "Frank-like aura" about it.

Once we finally got back to the car (freaking merch queues and security not letting cameras in, so we had to go pick up Aine's camera) my parents were like "wasn't it great?" while waving pit passes at us. The security guard at the back let them in because theay were cold!! Only in Ireland...

So we had a great time!!! *dances* I love MCR, and I love my fellow fans!!! wooh!!!

Don't want this whole livejournal thing to be pointless. mdr.

Only 18 days till MCR!! Oh My God, it's so close!! I can't WAIT!!!

And then two days later I'm off to Bruxsells with my french class! Hells Yeash!! Je voudrais aller maintenant!!

And then, the relaxation'll be over, and it'll be back to revision (Che schifo!), cos really, i do want to get into Uni! mdr.

pues, eso es todo!

And i'm getting a good mezcla of languages here. Que raro! mdr
